Founded in the 1980s, ABS manufactures avalanche airbags. These airbags are integrated into various backpack models to meet the requirements of tourers and freeriders. The technology used by the airbag manufacturer is based on the buoyancy force of larger objects in an avalanche, which minimizes the risk of burial for the wearer of an ABS avalanche backpack.
