ALÉ CYCLING CLOTHING COMBINES AERODYNAMICS WITH COMFORT AND STYLE

After more than 30 years of experience in the production of high-end cycling clothing, APG launched its own fashion brand Alé in 2013. The goal of the Italian company was as simple as it was successful: to conquer the industry with high-class products and innovative ideas. At that time, the standard repertoire of every manufacturer in the world of cycling clothing mainly included calm, pale colours. In this gap, Alé cycle clothing skilfully made its mark and - in addition to being a novelty on the market - also created its own trademark at the same time: Bicycle clothing with bright, fluorescent colours. With its bold style, Alé cycling clothing caused a big stir in the industry. In the meantime, Alé cycling jerseys are known worldwide and are very popular among cycling professionals as well as hobby cyclists.

However, it is not only the colours and prints of Alé cycling clothing for men and women that have inspired cyclists all over the world for years. The high-class quality of their products also helped the company from Verona to further expand its good reputation. Alé cycle clothing combines high-quality materials, technological excellence and Italian sense of style to create functional clothing that convinces. While cycling jerseys were largely made of (tree) wool until the 1960s, nowadays almost exclusively synthetic fibres are used - including by Alé. This is largely because these fibres do not absorb sweat, but wick it away to the outside. The material also supports aerodynamics and dries much faster than fabric made from natural fibres. The Italian brand also relies on synthetic fibres instead of leather for the padding of its Alé cycling shorts, as these do not require regular care.

For years, Alé has been a partner and sponsor of cycling teams and cycling federations. Most recently, the brand renewed its partnership with the French cycling federation. Working with professional athletes is an important part of Alé's work. After all, critical feedback from riders is one of the brand's most important quality tests. And it helps to continuously improve and develop the high-quality Alé cycling clothing.
