Mountain Force strives for no less than the perfect ski clothing - and comes incredibly close to its ideal goal. The label skilfully combines traditional Swiss tailoring with innovation and high-tech materials to create exclusive jackets and trousers that protect you from the elements on the slope and make you look really good.
2006 Peter Jud had seen enough. He had regularly travelled the Swiss mountains, followed his passion for skiing, but had missed one thing over and over again: the right clothing. Functional, yet still stylish. So Jud decided without further ado to found his own label. MOUNTAIN FORCE was born. Since then, the Swiss company wanted to offer its customers nothing less than perfect ski clothing. It combines classic Swiss tailoring with high-tech materials and classy designs, which are perfect on the slopes as well as in the hut or while strolling in winter.
HIGHTECH MEETS HANDWORK
Today MOUNTAIN FORCE succeeds in doing a balancing act that perhaps only a few had thought possible. The label is constantly striving for new technical innovations, for high-tech solutions for the mountains but all this without neglecting its roots, its craftsmanship. Thus each individual sample design is first created by hand until the prototype finally meets the requirements of MOUNTAIN FORCE and its customers. Only then is the pattern digitized and ready for production.
The goal is always to design clothing that offers you the highest possible comfort while skiing and at the same time protection against cold and wetness. Therefore, the design for a MOUNTAIN-FORCE ski jacket requires up to 1,500 steps and consists of up to 350 individual parts. In order to always be able to use the best materials, the company works closely with its individual producers and is constantly working on new technologies. For example, the ceramic membrane was created to keep your body climate in pleasant spheres when skiing.
The perfect quality that Peter Jud, the founder of the company, once had in mind, skiwear is of course only perfect when the material is both functional and comfortable to wear. Therefore MOUNTAIN FORCE created special, extremely stretchable skiwear, which always adapts to your swings and movements as well as being very durable.
Looking good in style should also be the ski clothing of MOUNTAIN FORCE. That's why the label creates simple designs and figure-hugging, well-fitting cuts. And if, for example, the chosen jacket does not fit perfectly, MOUNTAIN FORCE offers individual adaptations of leg or sleeve lengths in its studios in Austria and Switzerland. So you get your very own piece of ski clothing adapted to you.
IN DIALOGUE WITH THE PROS: TOP ATHLETES ON THE ROAD IN MOUNTAIN FORCE WEAR
The Mountain Force Ambassadors are all skiing enthusiasts. Professional athletes, such as Martina Ertl-Renz or the American Heidi Voelker, who ended her successful ski racing career a few years ago, are enthusiastic about the advantageous cuts and the comfortable fit of the pieces from Mountain Force's ski collection. But it's not only the ladies who rely on the fashionable winter clothing of the Swiss label. Ski sports star Peter "Runghi" Runggaldier has also been an ambassador for the brand for several years and appreciates the warm clothing because of its very light weight.
